If you are a Newly Qualified Teacher you may be interested in the funded TEEP Course (Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme) which is available at the CLC @ St Roberts. This is a two day course and there are two choices of dates:
30th & 31st March 2010
or
7th & 8th June 2010.
Teaching supply cover to a maximum of £300 per delegate is offered to each school taking part.
What does this mean to me as a Newly Qualified Teacher?
This two day course will introduce you to the TEEP model and it’s application in your classroom. Qualified trainers will lead you through the Effective Teacher and Learner behaviours which are the foundation of the model, as well as provide information and application of the TEEP cycle for lesson planning, along with an examination of the underlying principles. Techniques and processes learned through TEEP training will energise your classrooms and ensure you have the beginnings of your own Teacher Toolkit of resources, activities and assessments. TEEP also fosters a community of inspirational teachers and we hope that you can take this opportunity to join this community.
These free courses will be held at Sunderland City Learning Centre at St Roberts from 9:00-16:00. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
