Do you have a group of creative pupils who would like to enter an Animation Competition?
Sunderland City Learning Centre at St Roberts would like to offer teachers the opportunity to attend an Animation day with their class with full support from CLC staff.
Competition details
The competition is open to anyone aged 7 – 19. Entries can be submitted by individuals or in groups (maximum 4 people). Prizes range from laptops to gift vouchers. Entries must last a maximum of 1 minute. Judges will be looking for original, creative ideas with good technical quality (animation features). Winners will be invited to the Animation Festival and Prize giving day at The Lowry, Salford Quays, Manchester.
Who will it appeal to?
Teachers and students with innovative ideas for storytelling and lots of enthusiasm. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. No prior knowledge of software is required. What is involved?
1. Book a session and decide on a topic for the animation. 2. Students storyboard ideas. 3. Attend the CLC and create an animation.
