Congratulations to all the students from Sandhill View and Venerable Bede Schools who took part in the World Class Tests in Mathematics recently. The test session was held in the excellent environment of the City Learning Centre at Southmoor and the staff worked hard to put the students at ease. These tests are very challenging and the students really applied themselves to the task during three hours of hard work.  Congratulations to everyone involved. 

Other schools wishing to take part can access the test information at www.worldclassarena.org.  Tests are offered in Mathematics and in Problem Solving for ages 8-11 years and 12 – 14 years. Colleagues at both the Sunderland City Learning Centres have expressed an interest in supporting schools to offer the tests.
